The quiet, elusive Karl Lihagen is a major upcoming player in the techno world, producing refined and tasteful techno for DJs and listeners alike. Karl was introduced to electronic music at the early age of 10 through a Kraftwerk recording he heard in his brother's room. Highly influenced by this moment, Karl would go on to start producing his own brand of electronic dance music in 1994, but wasn't properly exposed to techno until several years later in 1998. Once his influences and production style changed, he would go on to create a highly creative library of floor-filling tracks, and joined with the impressive netlabel Rohformat soon after his techno makeover. We discovered him through this netlabel and knew he was on the right track. Plus, we had to hear more!
